My biggest thrill and enjoyment on July 4th was . . .
after putting Christian to bed, Rebecca invited David and I into her room to watch her twirl her glow in the dark necklace. Cool, but even cooler was when we broke out the flashlight and made finger shadows on the wall.
The funniest was when David told Rebecca to look at the wall and don't turn around, then in front of the flashlight he put one of her small dog stuffed animals. She kept looking at the shadow on the wall and said, 'Wow, Dad, how did you do that?'. He hid the stuffed animal and kept saying, 'oh, ow, man that was hard'. Then he told her to look at the wall again and don't turn around and made it obvious by saying let me try a teddy bear and used one of her big teddy bears and she said, 'Daaadd!'
I love family time in a dark room with shadows!
